	Chateau Světlá nad Sázavou THE HIGHLANDS REGION The Světlá nad Sázavou Castle Area is located 17 km from Havlíčkův Brod. Among its most important sights is also the English landscaped park that surrounds the castle. The park was founded in 1871 by Count Franz Josef Salm-Reifferscheidt during extensive construction and reconstruction work. At present, a cycling-rest place is built at the entrance to the park. The owners of the castle together with the town keep the park for visitors from the town and its near and far surroundings.

	Jurkovič Villa SOUTH MORAVIA Both garden and villa were designed by celebrated architect Dušan Jurkovič for his family and friends. Along with the villa, the garden has been restored in accordance with the original plans; it was opened to the public in 2011. The garden’s character is determined by the fruit trees which supplement the beds of roses and other perennials that bloom in the course of the year. At the edges of the garden are its utilitarian parts, which include a vine and currant bushes.
