The garden area was established in the 16th century as a chateau park. It has been revitalized since 2010 according to historical plans and restored to its original condition. Old yews, fruit trees, shrubs, and flowering perennials create a common image that is enriched with artistic objects. It is bordered to the north by the stone walls of the terraces. The southern end is formed by hornbeams. The garden is a unique jewel of beauty, a bright and contemplative caricature of stone, wood, ceramics, iron, and textile figures, as well as the magnificent and ever-changing cartoons of renowned artist Bruno Haberzellt. The garden is unique throughout the area in German-speaking countries.
