The transformation of the school garden into a natural classroom began in spring 2010. Highlights of the garden include mixed beds shaped like a butterfly, a small lake, a meadow in bloom, a rise with fragrant herbs and a three-chamber composting system. A large mosaic explaining the origination of soil is a dominant feature. The You-We-I-New Garden has been awarded Model Wild Garden certification.
