The garden is situated in the Waldviertel landscape, structured in small areas, in the "Gföhlerwald" area at an altitude of 579 m. Around 1600, woodcutters and charcoals began to settle here, before that there was an unpopulated closed forest area. Collection of peonies (approx. 70 pcs), several hundred kinds of flowering hardy perennials, bulbous and tuber crops, fruit, vegetables, berry bushes, herbs, hedgerow, historical roses, greenhouse, natural lake, flower meadow. The area of the garden is about 10 000 m².
