This botanical garden contains collections of domestic species, with a special focus on the vegetation of South Moravia, aquatic plants and temperate-zone species from all over the world. Its arboretum has 520 wood plant taxa. Its greenhouse area of 1100 m² contains tropical and subtropical species including Victoria amazonica, palms, cycas, ferns, Bromelia, succulents, cacti and orchids, plus crops plants such as mango, pineapple, banana, cacao, coffee, citruses, olive, passion flowers, papaya, cotton and sugar cane.
