The Moravian Karst is the largest and most heavily karstified area in the Czech Republic. The local landscape is characterized by flat areas with many sinkholes separated by deep, canyon-like troughs. Multifunctional Centre at Lednice Chateau – Garden Landscapes

The exhibition is dedicated to the art of landscaping. Developments in the landscape of the Lednice-Valtice Cultural Landscape – from the Ice Age and the first settlements all the way up to the present day – are shown on a spatial model in a number of animations. The exhibition contains many photographs, maps and models detailing the influence of particular aspects of global development on the shaping of the local landscape, most notably as carried out by the Liechtenstein family. Museum of Villages of Southeast Moravia

The Museum of Villages of Southeast Moravia was built throughout the 1970s and opened to the public in 1981. Visitors are given access to the folk architecture of Moravian Kopanice, Luhačovice Zálesí and Horňácko; they also get to see buildings and structures for water facilities, viniculture and hay sheds.
