	Jurkovič Villa SOUTH MORAVIA Both garden and villa were designed by celebrated architect Dušan Jurkovič for his family and friends. Along with the villa, the garden has been restored in accordance with the original plans; it was opened to the public in 2011. The garden’s character is determined by the fruit trees which supplement the beds of roses and other perennials that bloom in the course of the year. At the edges of the garden are its utilitarian parts, which include a vine and currant bushes.

	Multifunctional Centre at Lednice Chateau – Garden Landscapes SOUTH MORAVIA The exhibition is dedicated to the art of landscaping. Developments in the landscape of the Lednice-Valtice Cultural Landscape – from the Ice Age and the first settlements all the way up to the present day – are shown on a spatial model in a number of animations. The exhibition contains many photographs, maps and models detailing the influence of particular aspects of global development on the shaping of the local landscape, most notably as carried out by the Liechtenstein family. 	Service Tree Museum SOUTH MORAVIA The service tree is the oldest and most fertile fruit tree in Europe. Like the rowan, its fruit is very large. Even a 300-year-old tree produces over a ton of fruit. Service-tree wood is the hardest of all European woods. There is a small museum on the village square at Tvarožná Lhota. In addition to its exhibition about this precious tree, the museum houses an exhibition of photographs entered in the annual ‘Most Beautiful Service Tree’ competition, from which visitors choose the ‘Service Tree Queen’.
